JM From You Tube has made a comment on Triplet Drum Glove:

i got these gloves to prevent blisters because they were the only ones that i could find in a small size. probably the best investment to my playing i have ever made! its amazing the difference these gloves made! my gripping technique is much more relaxed now! they are great for blisters too! i had to do a march with my schools band and not only did it keep me from getting blisters but it also helped me keep hold of my sticks. i would definitely recommend these to anyone GREAT JOB JAMES!

Hey Jimmy-I am a customer of yours and have been for about 1 1/2 years.
I developed some pretty bad hand problems and it became impossible to keep
a comfortable grip on a drumstick and I saw your video of the Triplet Drum Glove on You Tube the year you unveiled them at NAMM.

I ordered 3 pairs from you and I have been able to drum in comfort ever since. Your drum glove made it possible for me to keep drumming. Put it this way, I lost all the strength in my right hand 2 years ago. I got where my hand would cramp and straighten out on it's own and I would drop the drum stick. I almost had to give up drumming because I couldn't play without intense pain. I know this sounds like a commercial but I am dead serious. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, Jimmy for inventing the Triplet Drum Glove!
They go everywhere my drums go.
I could NOT play without them.

Excuse me if I am repeating myself but I don’t see where I emailed you after I played with your gloves on. I didn’t want to take the chance that you did not reap the heaps of praise I have for your gloves. I could not believe it. Just holding the sticks was a major difference. Without them, after 5 minutes of “air drumming,” my fingers were starting to ache a little. My fingers never hurt once during my performance of actually playing. These gloves are absolutely tremendous. They fit perfectly. They’re comfortable. They’re practical. They make holding the sticks super easy. No more gripping or sliding. They even have a cool look to them. You have outdone yourself my friend. What a fabulous invention. I hope you sell millions of them. I’m sure sold. I have already told some drummers about them so I hope they order. They’re nuts if they don’t. Thanks again for talking with me on the phone about them. It really helped. You’re a great guy and a great inventor. Take care, Michael G.

Many drummers play with a very tense grip ..tough habit to break and this glove I know could help prevent permanent lifetime damage. ... YouTube - Triplet Drum Glove Comment

Incredible, I watched your video showing triplet drum glove, very interesting, in Brazil we do not have it. Can I be your representative here in Brazil, what do you think?

Hi Jimmy, Thank you so much so creating this product for us drummers!!!! I've been a drummer for over 25 years. I've been playing drums on our church's Praise Team for about 10 years. We had just switched to a Roland electronic kit about 2 years ago. By the time we were finished playing, my fingers on my right hand were numb!!! I just purchased the Triplet Drum Gloves a few days ago. We had our Praise Team practice last night, where I had used the gloves for the first time. I couldn't believe it!!!!! My hands felt great, and my stick control was so much better!!!

Thank you again for this amazing product!!!

In 1997 I had a neurologic problem called Transverse Myelitis. Among other things it left me with hand weakness, particularly on the right. I couldn't persue a number of activities that used to enjoy and I always wanted to play the drums,so I took them up. Problem was, I couldn't hold the sticks well. I tried stick wrap and tape, but it wasn't til I learned about the triplet gloves that I was really able to get a truly workable grip. It's made all the difference......Rob

Jimmy,

The gloves are excellent!! They are everything you claim and more!!! I've done clinics upward of 2 hrs and my hands feel almost no fatigue!! No small feat when you use marching (3S) sticks!! I'm a busy teacher/clinician and the TDGs reduce my hand fatigue a staggering amount, enough so that I've gone back to wood sticks (the aforementioned baseball bats!)

I can send you a DVD of one of my clinics with me using the gloves. Let me know if you want one.

The TDGs reside in my stick bag when they're not on my hands!!

Great product!!

Re: Playing Drums with pain- A Recent Post In Drum Set Connect-June 10th,2011.

To BKEARNS I know what your going through because I have OsteoArthritis you need to see a doctor and then you need to go for physical therapy.

I'm lucky I don't have arthritis in either hands because I've kept them excercised for over 42 years playing drums but I've had some different issues with one hand

In the meantime if you want to play and need some help go to this site Triplet Drum Glove .

These gloves are not like gloves you see in music stores they are completely different when you go to the site you'll see the difference. you can also order them from drumbum.com they are fantastic and really work.

Jimmy,

After having a catastrophic injury to my right hand a couple years ago I thought I would never be able to play drums with two hands again because I could no longer hold a stick. I practiced drums with only my left hand and two feet for nearly a year until I discovered the Triplet Drum Glove. The glove allows me to "hold" onto the stick without too much fatigue but also allows for a loose and relaxed "grip". Now, not only am I drumming again but I'm back to working as a gigging drummer. I am even getting back my double and triple bounce rolls! Thanks for these gloves!

Wow!

I am sorry to hear that people are still bothered by the fact that this TDG system REALLY works!

I worked with students that have great strength and poor grip, and they can spin the sticks all over their hands too. Non of which makes a good drummer. This product was designed to gain the maximum control of your grip without choking the stick, which may cause all kinds of illnesses in the future. Once the muscle memory is in place by using TDG you can now play without the bands on the gloves.

Dear jimmie,

These gloves are great... takes a little getting used to, but it really protects the hand from blisters and saves the wrists from unnecessary impact. I played a little RockBand competition and was hitting > 500 beat streaks... makes drumming something I never grow tired of now.... I just love the fact that I end the night with no blisters...

Many thanks Mr. Lento... Even at twice the price of Zildjian gloves... I feel I got a great deal.. By the way: Fingerless gloves seem like a simple concept, but very few manufacturers offer them. I guess they don't understand comfort and grip as well as you do.

P.S. I rarely write anything about the products I buy, but this product far exceeded my expectations the minute I popped them on.

James, I received the Drum Gloves and the two sets of sticks in the mail today. First, I'd like to say that the gloves are a Godsend for me. I not sure what I have done without a pair of these gloves as they offer so much to my playing style/longevity. I am going to show them to a close friend of mine who was the original drummer for Grand Funk Railroad and has done work with Todd Rundgren and Bob Seger also. I'll also be trying the sticks out at the next practice. I believe that you are truly blessed with a gift in creating both the gloves/sticks. Blessings, Rev. J. H.

I think the Triplet Drum Gloves are great, and a fantastic invention..

Drummer Cafe, November 2007

HEY JIMMIE,

I THOUGHT I SHOULD DROP YOU A LINE TO LET YOU KNOW HOW THE GLOVES ARE HOLDING UP ...

THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!

I'VE HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS/COMMENTS ON THEM AT JAM SESSIONS AND GIGS ALIKE. I TAKE THEM WITH ME EVERYWHERE AS THEY FIT INTO THE POCKET OF MY STICKBAG. SOME FROM DRUMMERS WHO HAVE HEARD OF THEM OR SAW THE ADS AND SOME WHO HAD NEVER THOUGHT AN ITEM LIKE THIS WAS AVAILABLE, I OF COURSE ILLUSTRATE THEIR USES - OPEN HANDED ROLLS, USING 1, 2 OR ALL 3 BANDS, WITH STICKS, WITH MALLETS, MATCHED GRIP OR TRADITIONAL GRIP - THE GAMBIT!

I HAVE EVEN GOTTEN SOME NON-DRUMMERS AND NON-MUSICIANS COMMENTING ON THEM!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

- VAN L. !

VOILA, THANK YOU FOR THE MISSING LINK. THE NO DROP AND REBOUNDING GLOVES ARE JUST WHAT THE DR. ORDERED. IT'S BEEN TOO LONG. THANX RICHARD "SHTIX" A.

JImmy....these gloves are fantastic ....i only wish i had them 20 years ago.....i like to work with my hands..building things etc etc ...and i always was at work with pulled finger muscles ...cracked and cut hands/fingers....so many time i played in pain and couldn't even hold a stick correctly to play.......these gloves of yours would of been a godsend.....so keep pushing them.......

MR Rubens

Hi James, Second pair of gloves arrived today – a matter of days after you sent them!

Regarding the actual performance, I can say I’m impressed.

I find the most comfortable way for me to use them is with just the one band at the base of the forefinger, closest to the fulcrum. I find that while I lose some feel and mobility for rudimental work, this is more than compensated for by the control when kit playing in a live situation, where dropped sticks and fatigue are the major concerns. So, I don’t use them for rudiments but use them often playing the kit. I’ll be interested to see how they soften up and start to conform to my hands and playing technique over time. Do you have any comments on this?

All the best. Mal

What an Incredible Product ! They work even better than I thought- Keep Up the Great Work ! J.T.

I'd been having circulation problems in my hands for the last several months. I came across your website. I am now using the gloves, and the vascular problems in my hands seem to have improved.

Many thanks ! jc

I haven't been able to play the drums in years because of hand problems. Now I'm playing once again. These Gloves are truly Remarkable. Ted B.

As a beginner, I couldn't even hold the sticks without becoming frustrated. Now I can hold the sticks, and using your Gloves has made "Learning" Fun," and they let me play naturally, even at times when I don't use them to play the Drums, just like you say- Mike L.

I have been trying out these new gloves they are called, Triplet drum gloves they have been a lifesaver for me!! You can slip the stick into the loops in the plam to prevent stick dropping and proper alignment of the sticks. If you're having numbness and can't hold your sticks for long periods of time this will help. They take sometime to get used to but if it wasn't for them I would be stuck with my wrist swelling everytime I play. I couldn't play for long periods due to the feeling I've lost in two fingers. Anyone out there that is having issues with arthritis or carpal tunnels should really check these out they can be a great aid!! Pop Music ,

I play mallet instruments, and the Gloves have worked-out really Well. I am also impressed with the fact that I can use double-mallets, and obtain an even greater range of motion by simply experimenting with the various band combinations- T.K.

These are the most well-made Drumming Gloves I have seen. Given the three-elastic bands that enable you to play without struggling, yet making sure you are still holding your sticks Properly, is really Special! S.G.

As a music educator, I am fascinated at the technology incorporated into these Gloves, Sam B.

A little hard to get used to at first but once you drum with them for awhile and get the feel for the glove it worked well and was over all pleased with the product. Also the seller kept their word about giving you the shipping rebate. SDL

The Gloves took a short while to get used to, as I learned how to let the bands work with my grip. What's great is the flexibility of all the combinations, and I was really floored that you can use the Gloves with a Traditional Grip as well- B.T.

A WINNER FROM A TRIPLET DRUMGLOVE GIVEAWAY FROM BANDIRECTOR.COM Thank You. I handed them out first to my Seniors. They were using them in the Winter Marching Drum Line and 2 of them continued to use them on the Set with their Rock Bands. Both of these guys really like them. Second, I have them out to my Junior High Students who can’t seem to hold on to a pair of drum sticks for more than 30 seconds. It’s not yet “Cool” for them to wear them, but my older drummers seem to be very secure with them, so I anticipate that the younger ones will follow their lead and continue to use them. In April we will be starting next years Drum Line. Looking forward to using them Again Thanks- D.S.

What an Amazing Product ! I Love the Gloves and use them All The Time. Grip Problems are now Gone ! T.L.
